Special Stitch
The Rice Stitch- basically means alternating between fpdc and bpdc sts.
FPDC- This stitch is worked as follows: instead of working into the top 2 loops of the dc st, you will YO, insert your hook behind the dc, pull up a loop. YO pull up a loop pull through 2, yo pull through the remaining 2 loops on your hook.
BPDC- YO insert your hook over top of the dc st, pull up a loop YO pull up a loop pull through 2, yo pull through the remaining 2 loops on your hook.
Extended Single Crochet- Insert your hook into the stitch pull up a loop. Yo pull through 1 loop, yo and pull through 2 loops.
